Validation of prior learning and experience (VAE)
The VAE ("Validation des Acquis de l’Expérience" / validation of prior learning and experience) is an individual scheme designed to help in obtaining a diploma on the basis of the professional experiences possibly supplemented by trainings if needed.
It is a process dedicated to "any person, regardless of his/her age, nationality, status and level of training, holding at least one year of experience directly related to the certification targeted, with the aim of obtaining this certification or part of it.
Our diploma accessible thanks to VAE process are the Master of science in engineering ISAE-SUPAERO (taught in French), the Industrial engineering program "Industrialisation et méthodes pour l’aéronautique et l’espace" ", the Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering", and the professional certification "Architecte-Manager en ingénierie système"(MS) RNCP #36470.
The frame of VAE process is set in French labor and education laws and the process has to be done in French (whatever the language of the training programs associated with the diploma).
