Audrey BIGAND

Audrey Bigand is a PhD student at ISAE-SUPAERO and employee of AIRBUS. She is a PhD student in the Department of the Mechanics of Structures & Materials (DMSM) and the Institut Clément Ader (ICA). The subject of her thesis is Damage assessment on aircraft composite structure due to lightning constraints.

Norazrina BINTI MAT JALI

Norazrina BINTI MAT JALI is a PhD student at ISAE-SUPAERO in the Department of the Mechanics of Structures & Materials (DMSM). The subject of her thesis is Crack arrest capability of rubber-toughened PMMA under dynamic loading. She is affiliated with the Institut Clément Ader (ICA, CNRS UMR 5312).

Anthéa COMELLINI

Anthéa is a PhD student at ISAE-SUPAERO. The subject of her thesis is Vision-based navigation for autonomous rendezvous with non-cooperative targets. She is affiliated with the Aéronautique Astronautique (AA) doctoral school. This thesis is said to be CIFRE* and performed in collaboration with Thales Aliena Space.

She was a PhD student in the Complex Systems Engineering Department (DISC)
The subject of his thesis is “vision-based navigation for autonomous rendez-vous with non-cooperative targets.” She is affiliated with the doctoral
school of Aeronautics Astronautics (AA). This thesis is called a CIFRE* PhD and is done in collaboration with Thales Aliena Space
ISAE-SUPAERO welcomes its doctoral students in six ISAE-SUPAERO, ONERA teams and Clément Ader Institute, covering a wide spectrum of scientific disciplines related to aeronautics and space: aerodynamics and propulsion, structures and materials, embedded systems, networks and telecommunications, control and management of systems, human factors, electronics, and signal.
ISAE-SUPAERO offers a rich and diversified program of doctoral training, leading to the PhD, the highest degree awarded by the institute, and recognized internationally.
*Since 1981, The Ministry for Research has financed CIFRES with the double objective of placing doctoral students in the conditions for scientific employment and encouraging research partnerships between the academic and business spheres.

Laurent BEAUREGARD

Laurent is a PhD student in the Department of Design and Operation of Aerospace Vehicles (DCAS) and the Department of the Mechanics of Structures & Materials (DMSM). The subject of his thesis is optimization of the multi-disciplinary design of a reusable lunar vehicle. He is affiliated with the Aérospatiale-Astronautique (AA) doctoral school.

To celebrate International Women’s Day on 8 March, we presented for a month a gallery of portraits of the women who make ISAE-SUPAERO. This was an opportunity to ask them how they perceived the place of women in science and in society. Here is the portrait of Lisa BAKKALI.

Lisa BAKKALI

I’m a management assistant at the Department of the Mechanics of Structures & Materials (DMSM) and the Aerodynamics and Propulsion Department (DAEP). My mission consists of monitoring the finance and budgets of these two research departments. Beyond my studies in economics and management which are the foundations of my profession, it was the trust placed in me by the people who hired me that was the most decisive factor in my professional career.
