QRevolution selected for the pre-final round of Airbus Fly Your Ideas competition

Akshay Gupta is a second year master student at ISAE-SUPAERO from India. With two other students from Poland and Lithuania studying at the University of Manchester in the UK, he created a team called “QRevolution: Change the way you board with us”.

Their idea is to make use of IoT technologies to reduce the boarding time and increase the passenger experience, in commercial air travel. They are competing in the category of Internet of Things (IoT) of the Airbus Fly Your Ideas 2019, and have been selected for Round 3. The objective now is to make a place in the top 6 teams which will go live for the finals at Airbus Toulouse.

Akshay has double bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from Amity University in India and aeronautical engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in China. He specializes at ISAE-SUPAERO in Aerospace Structures. He participated last year to the Airbus Airnovation Summer Academy, which took place at Cranfield University, with 47 other participants from all over the world.

At ISAE-SUPAERO, Akshay is the President of International Association, organizing activities on campus with his team to promote integration and multi-cultural diversity among French and International students of ISAE-SUPAERO.
