ISAE-SUPAERO publishes its carbon footprint assessmentThe average French person emits 9 tonnes of CO2e per year. In order to comply with the Paris Agreement and limit global warming to +1.5°C, the carbon footprint must be reduced to 2 tonnes of CO2e per person per year by 2050.

ISAE-SUPAERO back on mission with HeraThe Hera mission, an international planetary defence mission, is on its way to study the asteroid Dimorphos, which will be struck by DART in 2022. ISAE-SUPAERO is actively collaborating in this international planetary defence programme through the research work of Naomi Murdoch and the SSPA team.

Researchers from ISAE-SUPAERO contributed to the success of the first images from ESA’s Sentinel 2c observation satellite.The Sentinel 2c Earth observation satellite, launched on 5 September as part of ESA's Copernicus mission, has delivered its first images. This success is partly due to the image sensor research team (CIMI) at ISAE-SUPAERO, which designed and oversaw the manufacture of the visible image sensors.

Laurent Michel appointed programme director of the General Engineering programme at ISAE-SUPAEROSince the start of the 2024-2025 academic year, Laurent Michel has been responsible for the smooth running of the General Engineering programme. • He will also be involved in developing the programme in line with the skills-based approach. • A professor of structural and materials mechanics, he has been head of the Structural and Materials Mechanics Department (DMSM) at ISAE-SUPAERO for the past five years.
