The ISAE-SUPAERO Master’s degree programme is internationally renowned and highly regarded as an innovative programme in science and technologies. Fully taught in English, this programme is designed to prepare engineering students to find and develop solutions to today’s and tomorrow’s challenges facing the world and the aerospace industry.
The Master is accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research in line with the European higher education system. A new double degree program is offered in collaboration with Technical University of Munich (TUM).

The ISAE-SUPAERO Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering (MAE)
The global aerospace industry needs high qualified engineers or researchers. Design complex aerospace systems involve multinational, geographically disseminated teams of project managers or various experts working in collaborative environment through integrated development platform tools. The Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering is intended to educate graduate students in subjects relevant to the demanding challenges and needs of the industry.
Endowing students with skills in engineering science, technology and design as they relate to aeronautics and space, the MAE programme is designed to be multi-disciplinary preparing future engineers to easily and efficiently work on aeronautical systems, space systems and their applications, with a focus on the complete life cycle of the system. The MAE programme encompasses a wide spectrum of topics, enabling students to tackle various aspects from design to operating products and systems either in a research organization or in an aerospace company in a multinational environment.

The ISAE-SUPAERO Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering offers students extensive opportunities for specialization and a tailored curriculum:
- a strong multi-disciplinary common core in engineering, management and foreign languages,
- a one-year part-time research project in semesters 2 and 3,
- 22 electives in semester 2 covering the main fields of aerospace engineering,
- 7 majors in semester 3 in line with the needs of aeronautical and space industry and research :

- foreign languages: French, Spanish, German, Russian...

Academic prerequisites
Required degrees for the ISAE-SUPAERO Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering:
- Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent, in the following fields: mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace, electronics, electrical systems, telecommunications, etc.
- French license in Science and Engineering.
Students holding a degree in mathematics or physics may also apply.

ISAE-SUPAERO/TUM Double degree in Aerospace System Engineering
Technical University of Munich (TUM) and ISAE-SUPAERO share the excellence of their education and research activities to offer a double degree in AerospaceSystems Engineering. Interested students will have to apply for ISAE-SUPAERO Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering and motivate their intention to participate in this double degree programme.
- The first year, the students study at TUM in the Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering.
- The second year, the students study at ISAE-SUPAERO in the Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering - major Systems Engineering

ISAE-SUPAERO reniewed its "Welcome to France" label in December 2023. The labeling committee decided for the second time to award ISAE-SUPAER0 with 3 stars, attesting to its quality of welcoming international students.
This label, independently awarded by Campus France, complies with the standards set by the French Ministry of Higher Education according to 5 indicators that are fully met by ISAE-SUPAERO : it attests to the quality and accessibility of information, the welcoming processes to facilitating international students’ life upon arrival and during there stay (orientation week, events, information, guidance, etc.), the range of courses on offer, the accommodation and quality of life on campus and the post-graduate follow-up.
