By participating in collaborative workshops, the Institute worked on the definition of the Regional Scheme for Higher Education, Research and Innovation (SRESRI) of the Occitanie Region to establish the 2022-2028 roadmap. The European conference, attendedby 27 Europeanministers in charge of space, electedofficials andmany key stakeholders in the aerospace industry, was an opportunity for the Institute to remindparticipants of its commitment andmobilization alongsidepublic authorities and the European space ecosystemon the issues of the future in terms of training and research in aeronautical and space engineering. — 2022 highlights ISAE-SUPAERO ANNUAL REPORT 2022 First NewSpace Conference in Paris In 2022, the Institute coordinated the launch of the first French NewSpace Conference by joining the steering committee composed of 16 organizations representing the French space industry, both in its industrial and geographic components, public and private: CNES, GIFAS, ESA, themain French competitiveness clusters, Alliance NewSpace France, etc. ISAE-SUPAEROhas also contributed to the drafting of the report “Ambition New Space 2027” resulting from the discussions held during the Conference and upstream during a broad participatory consultation, by coordinating the academic theme to carry 3 of the 24 proposals selected in the report.
