ISAE-SUPAERO ANNUAL REPORT 2022 39 Business / Our ecosystems Business ECATA – European Consortium for Advanced Training in Aerospace International Affairs In 2022, the 21 high potentials recruited to participate in theABI programtook up the topic “Aerospace industrywork together tomeet the 2035-2050environmental challenge”. Thegroup, made upof employees fromSAAB, Dassault Aviation, Airbus, BAESystems, MTU, Safran, Liebherr and Leonardo, worked for fourmonths on the subject of decarbonizing the aeronautics industry, with a viewto integrating all the stakeholders involved. After starting the session on ETISAE’s premises inMadrid, the session continued inGreat Britain, on the campus of theprestigious CranfieldUniversity. Theparticipants finallymet in Toulouse, on the ISAE-SUPAEROcampus, to finalize theirwork andpresent their results in the formof awebinar accessible on the ECATA Youtube channel, which gathered an audience of 400people. In addition to this final presentation, 150alumni of theprogramalsogathered to celebrate ECATA’s 30th anniversary. ISAE-SUPAEROhas set up a certificate on space systems and spacemissions in collaborationwith the Airbus Defence and Space Academy. This contract led to three training sessions in Toulouse for executives and engineers from the Saudi Arabian Space Commission. ISAE-SUPAEROwas responsible for some of the courses and for a preliminary satellite design project.
