Cookie policy

What is a cookie?

Cookies are small files stored by a server on a user’s terminal (computer, phone, tablet, etc.) and associated with a web domain (i.e. all the pages on a single website). These files are automatically returned on subsequent contacts with the same domain.

They only collect information relating to your use of the Site, so that your terminal can be recognised when you use the Site again and so facilitate the implementation of certain of its functions, such as saving your preferences or activating comments on a blog.

There are several types of cookies:

  • session cookies, which disappear as soon as you leave the site ;
  • permanent cookies, which remain on your terminal equipment until their lifetime expires or until you delete them using your browser’s functions;
  • internal cookies which are placed by ISAE-SUPAERO;

Details on the use of social plug-ins

Our Site uses the social plug-ins or tags of the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin and Youtube social networks. These social plug-ins can be recognised by their respective logos and allow you to access our pages directly on these networks.

In order to protect your data as much as possible when you use our Site, we have integrated these plug-ins in such a way that the connection to the operator of the social network is only established when you activate the plug-in by clicking on the corresponding icon. When the connection is established by activating the plug-in, we have no influence on the extent of the data collected by Facebook, Twitter, Google or Linkedin.

To the best of our knowledge, by interacting with one of the social plug-ins, the operator of the social network concerned receives information about the web page of our Site that you have visited. If at the same time you are connected to a social network, the operator of this social network may also associate the corresponding visits with your social network account. Even if you are not a member of one of the social networks mentioned, it is possible that they may retrieve and, if necessary, record your IP address via the plug-in when you click on it.

For more information about the scope and purpose of the processing, collection and use of data by Facebook, Twitter, Google and Linkedin, as well as your rights in this respect and the configuration options, please consult their respective privacy policies (see paragraph below).

If you are a customer of one of the social networks mentioned, but do not want it to be able to collect your data from our Site and link it to your user account, you must disconnect from the social network concerned before clicking on a plug-in.

The following companies place third-party cookies on the isae-supaero.fr website:

Beyond the technical collection and transmission, ISAE-SUPAERO has no control over the cookies and other third-party trackers of these companies.

Consequently, we recommend that you consult the confidentiality policies and general terms and conditions of these third-party companies available on their respective websites before accepting the deposit of the cookies concerned.

3. On-line management of your cookies from inter-professional opposition platforms: Several platforms for advertising professionals also offer you the possibility of refusing or accepting cookies used by the companies that are members of them.

These centralised mechanisms do not block the display of advertisements, but only prevent the installation of cookies used to tailor advertisements to your interests and behaviour.

For example, you can log on to the www.youronlinechoices.com website to prevent these cookies from being installed on your terminal equipment. This site is proposed by digital advertising professionals grouped together within the European Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) and managed in France by the Interactive Advertising Bureau France.

You can find out which companies are registered on this platform and offer you the option of refusing or accepting the cookies they use to adapt the advertising likely to be displayed on your browser, depending on what they collect: www.youronlinechoices.com/fr/controler-ses-cookies/.

This European platform is shared by hundreds of Internet advertising professionals and constitutes a centralised interface enabling you to express your refusal or acceptance of cookies as specified above.
