Call for applications for the Jean-Jacques and Félicia Lopez-Loreta Foundation award - 2023 edition

As it has done every year for more than 5 years, the Jean-Jacques and Felicia Lopez-Loreta Foundation encourages students from four European public universities to carry out an innovative and highly promising project, which may be an academic research project or an entrepreneurial project.

The Jean-Jacques and Felicia Lopez-Loreta Foundation wishes to award a prize of 1 million euros to one winner from each of the four schools.

The four European universities are :

ISAE-SUPAERO,
École Polytechnique Fédérale de Zurich,
École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne,
École Polytechnique Paris-Saclay.

The 2018, 2019 and 2021 editions have each seen this excellence award given to an ISAE-SUPAERO graduate.

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR APPLYING?

To hold an ISAE-SUPAERO diploma (Bachelor’s degree, Engineer, Master’s degree, Specialized Master’s degree®, Doctorate) less than 2 years old, as of April 1, 2022.

Applications are personal and should be sent to corinne.chabanne at isae-supaero.fr with the subject "Application for the Lopez-Loreta Foundation 2023 Prize" and as an attachment a pre-file sent in a single PDF file before September 30, 2022.

This pre-file, written in French or English (but if it is written in English, a French translation must be attached) must include:

a free description of the project presenting both the personality and references of the candidate as well as his research or entrepreneurial project (8 pages maximum per project)
the candidate’s curriculum vitae (2 pages maximum), and the candidate’s contact information, and a copy of university diplomas
a cover page with the candidate’s contact information, the name of the school and the name of the project.

CALENDAR:

15/04/22 : Launch of the call for applications
30/09/22 : Deadline for sending applications to ISAE-SUPAEO
01/11/22 : Sending of the pre-selected files by ISAE-SUPAERO to the Jean-Jacques and Félicia Lopez-Loreta Foundation
01/12/22 : Communication by the Jean-Jacques and Félicia Lopez-Loreta Foundation of the pre-files considered as eligible
20/01/23 : In case of selection by the Jean-Jacques and Felicia Lopez-Loreta Foundation, a complete file must be prepared for transmission to ISAE-SUPARO by 20 January 2023.

The finalization of this file will then be done with the support of ISAE-SUPAERO, the ISAE-SUPAERO Foundation and the ISAE SUPAERO ENSICA Alumni Association before transmission of the final file to the Jean-Jacques and Félicia Lopez-Loreta Foundation.
