The International Micro Air Vehicle Conference and Competition, IMAV 2017

After Aachen (Germany) in 2015 and Beijing (China) in 2016, IMAV 2017 will be taking place in Toulouse from the 18th to the 21st of September 2017. Teaming up to organise this international event – which is poised to welcome more than 250 participants from over 20 different countries – are ISAE-SUPAERO, ENAC and ONERA, under the auspices of the Micro Drones GIS.

Paolo was a PhD student in the Complex Systems Engineering Department (DISC) at ISAE-SUPAERO. The subject of his thesis is “Autonomous vision-based-navigation and shape reconstruction of an unknown asteroid during approach phase. He is affiliated with the doctoral school, Aeronautics Astronautics (AA).
ISAE-SUPAERO welcomes its doctoral students in six ISAE-SUPAERO, ONERA teams and Clément Ader Institute, covering a wide spectrum of scientific disciplines related to aeronautics and space: aerodynamics and propulsion, structures and materials, embedded systems, networks and telecommunications, control and management of systems, human factors, electronics, and signal.
ISAE-SUPAERO offers a rich and diversified program of doctoral training, leading to the PhD, the highest degree awarded by the institute, and recognized internationally.
