#WorldEngDay2020: we celebrate the World Engineering Day for Sustainable Developement

Happy #WorldEngDay2020! ♻ Every year from today, on March 4th, we will celebrate the World Engineering Day for Sustainable Developement. ISAE-SUPAERO is well aware of the environmental issues such as climate changes and energy transition & takes its responsibilities to raise awareness and train its students.

Some of our concrete actions:

🌿 A "climate fresco": a fun, participatory and creative workshop on climate change. It is based on collective intelligence and is extremely educational.

📒 A class « Energy Transition » included in the engineering program & a certificate "Environmental Engineering" that is accessible to all students of the Groupe ISAE.

🤝 A collectif "SUPAERO Décarbo" composed of students from promotions 2000 & 2001, which work for a greener aeronautic. Our alumni are fully engaged!

📋 Several research chairs created to work on new air transport concepts, significantly lower CO2 emissions : CEDAR chair with Airbus on innovative concepts to prepare the next generations of aircraft transportation, Safran-AEGIS chair to work on reducing the environmental footprint & Daher chair on conception & certification of light hybrid-electric propulsion aircraft.

But we are not acting alone, the Fondation ISAE-SUPAERO is supporting & accelerating the realisation of innovative projects to create the sustainable world of tomorrow, so is ISAE-Supaero-Ensica Alumni: Jeunes Diplômés 🌎
