The “They’re ISAE-SUPAERO” campaign is on display
Available online :
Initiated in the context of International Women’s Day on March 8th, this portrait gallery of students, research professors, alumni, doctoral students and staff continued for one month on our social media. They make up our everyday diversity at the Institute and here they talk about the place of women in the sciences and in society in general.
They are now shown in a life-sized exhibit on our Campus.
An exhibit to raise awareness of the levers that can be pulled and the mentalities that need to be changed to improve women’s place and share in key roles in society, in the workplace and in the technological sciences. Actions to be taken every day so that engineering schools can also be home to women engineers.
The campaign asked them what had been the decisive factors in their career paths, what they feel is important for the future and how they view women’s place in the sciences and society. An opportunity for each of them to highlight an idea that is close to her heart and to give us one of the keys to change. Slogans are displayed on the walkway between the student residences and the teaching and research buildings.
An exhibition designed to give them their rightful place and to foster equality.
All of their interviews in French and in English can be seen in the news pages of our website www.isae-supaero.fr/en, but also on-site by scanning the QR Code at the bottom of each portrait.
More broadly, the exhibition reinforces the life of this central campus axis used by more than 2,000 students and staff members and, in the coming months, should make way for other topics supported by the Institute such as sustainable development, innovation and entrepreneurship, not to mention research and chairs.
