The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) invites Marie-Hélène Baroux DA of ISAE-SUPAERO to speak about the aviation in-sector CO2 emissions reductions

The ICAO 2020 Stocktaking Seminar on aviation in-sector CO2 emissions reductions sector is taking place from 8 to 11 September, entirely online. Marie-Hélène Baroux, Deputy President & Head of Sustainable Development at ISAE-SUPAERO is invited to speak during the session "Boosting innovation and implementation".
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations established by States in 1944 to manage and administer the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago Convention).
The organization of this online seminar is in line with the crisis affecting the aviation sector and the need to reflect on current and future solutions to be implemented to reduce CO2 emissions in this sector. The participants will examine together innovative solutions by focusing on three main areas:
- Technology
- Operations
- Sustainable Fuels
It is also an opportunity to broaden the scope of this stocktaking by covering the potential for reducing emissions in the sector through technological improvements, innovations and operational improvements in aircraft.
Marie-Hélène Baroux, Deputy Director & Head of Sustainable Development at ISAE-SUPAERO is invited to speak during the session "Boosting innovation and implementation" on September 11th from 9:45 to 11:00 a.m. to present the Institute’s commitments in this area.
