Successful take-off for Thomas Pesquet Ingénieur SUPAERO graduate

The former ISAE-SUPAERO student took off from Kazakhstan, on November 17, at 9.20 PM on bord a space ship Soyouz.

Thomas Pesquet has flown towards the International Space Station ISS for a 6-month mission, in orbit 400 km above the earth.

He will carry several experiments on musculature, water purification and sleep on behalf of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Centre for Space Studies (CNES, France).
