Understanding the fight against discrimination and being well aware of the legalities enables a concerted effort to manage the differences and diversity within an enterprise. As a consequence, these seminars aim to train the students and prospective managers in "Diversity Management" which, in recent years has become indispensable for the young engineers.
With the support of its Diversity Program, ISAE-SUPAERO has introduced a module "Management of the diversity" within its ”Ingénieur ISAE-SUPAERO” (MSc) degree. This module is proposed to all the students of group ISAE (ISAE-SUPAERO, ISAE-ENSMA, ESTACA, École de l’Air) as well as to all the Doctorates and institute’s professionals.
The seminar covers the following topics:
- Social and historic approach towards diversity
- Legality and regulations concerning diversity
- Diversity of social origins and cultural ethnicity
- Discrimination towards handicaps
- The equality of men and women
Various experts and industrial figures take part in this seminar from 3rd to 7th April. The inauguration ceremony was held on Monday 3rd April 2017 within the ISAE-SUPAERO campus with a photo exhibition based on the ‘Diversity of Airbus’, titled #ENSEMBLE.
The seminar was inaugurated by a speech by Mr. Marc JOUENNE, head of Human Resource department of Airbus in France.
