Dr Erwin Gowree receives ICAS John J Green Award

The ICAS John J Green Award purpose is to honor young professionals of distinction, who, by virtue of their participation and involvement in aeronautics, have an exceptional record in the fostering of international cooperation between scientists.
Dr Erwin Gowree, ISAE-SUPAERO Associate Professor, receives the 2018 ICAS John J Green Award.
The recipient of the ICAS John J. Green award is invited to serve on the ICAS Program Committee for the two year period up to the next Congress in 2020.
About Dr Erwin Gowree : Associate Professor in applied aerodynamics in the Dept. of Aerodynamics, Energetics & Propulsion (DAEP) at ISAE-SUPAERO. He has a PhD in aerodynamics from City, University of London where he stayed for 3 more years as a postdoctoral Research Fellow. He has been involved in couple of UK funded projects in collaboration with Airbus and Bombardier Aerospace. Before joining ISAE-SUPAERO he had a brief spell in the Fans Aeromechanics department at Rolls-Royce as an aero- elasticity specialist, focusing on unsteady aerodynamics.
