Last Updated On

Since 1 January 2025, our Institute has been an associate member of the new Université de Toulouse, formerly the Université Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier and heir to the Communauté d'universités et établissements de Toulouse - COMUE de Toulouse. The University of Toulouse is an experimental public institution that has embarked on a collective drive to build a future major institution that will be attractive and visible on the international stage.

Towards a world-class university in Toulouse

TheUniversity of Toulouse has the collective ambition of bringing together the academic strengths of the city of Toulouse and its surrounding area in order to create favourable conditions for the Toulouse site to become a major multi-disciplinary university institution for research and higher education of world renown, visible and recognised at national and international level, characterised by a common signature and brand, rich in the diversity of the entities that make it up and ready to commit to a principle of respect, trust and subsidiarity.

A strategic alliance for a sustainable, sovereign and innovative aerospace sector

The scientific contribution to the development of space andaeronautics with and for society is a major challenge for theEPE Université de Toulouse, associated with a strategy of visibility and international influence in training, research andinnovation, while remaining anchored in the local area, in liaison with the local socio-economic ecosystems.

The successful transition of the aeronautics and space sector – be it ecological, digital, societal and/or economic – in a tense international context where French and European sovereignty is becoming a key factor, requires the mobilisation of all players to prepare for the future and supply the economic sector with talent and technical or technological solutions.
