Today, the institution has a fairly active cycling population making up approximately 20% of the staff/students. This figure can be explained by the site’s layout, notably with its immense bicycle park open to all as well as the many points of directs access to the Canal du Midi.
The school has also participated in Operation “AYAV” (Allons-Y A Vélo – Let’s go by Bike). This operation gets companies to challenge each other for one week by encouraging their employees to come to work by bike. ISAE-SUPAERO took the first prize in 2018.
Initiated in 2005 by the Association Vélo Toulouse (Toulouse Cycling Association), this operation is now organized twice a year, in the winter and in the spring, by Deux Pieds Deux Roues (Two Feet Two Wheels) and the Maison du Vélo (Bicycle House). The campaign is carried out by a network of motivated contacts in companies, administrations, elementary schools, middle schools and high schools in the Toulouse region.
