Academic prerequisites
Required degrees for the Master in Aerospace Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent, in the following fields: mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace, electronics, electrical systems, telecommunications, etc.
- or French licence in Science and Engineering.
Students holding a degree in mathematics or physics may also apply.
Application process
The school year starts in September, there is only one intake per year for the Master program.
Applications for September 2025 intake will open at the beginning of October 2024
Please check below the documents requested for the application and prepare your application:
- a resume (= CV, Curriculum) in English,
- a motivation letter in English (1 page)

- Transcripts of the last 2, 3 or 4 last years of Bachelor*,
- English test results
Are exempted students holding a citizenship from: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States)
(All other students must provide an English Test, even if they attended a program taught in English. Please note, no exception or derogation can be made)
List of tests with minimum score accepted :
*** TOEFL IBT (Inst.Code : 9820): 88
*** TOEIC: 785
*** IELTS (Academics): 6.5
*** CAE/FCE Cambridge: 170
*** Linguaskill : 170
Please note the online edition of those above tests are accepted.
The English test must have been taken within the last two years.
For 2025 intake - We accept tests taken from January 1st, 2022.
If some students don’t have a valid English test while applying, they must provide a convocation, document, or an e-mail mentioning the date of the English test. - 2 letters of recommendation sent directly by professors/tutors (they receive instructions as soon as the application is validated online by the candidate).
- GRE test results if taken (not mandatory but useful if you take the test for other purpose - ISAE-SUPAERO school code is 9820)
- Application fees of €100.
* Official documents like the diploma & transcripts have to be officially translated in French or English.
All additional documents (transcript/diploma/English test/GRE/others) that you wish to add after completing your application, please send them by mail in PDF format to admission-masters at isae-supaero.fr.

There are several admissions sessions for the Master in Aerospace Engineering.
Applications are examined by the admission committee according to the schedule below:

In order to increase their chances of admission to a program, ISAE-SUPAERO recommends that applicants apply as early as possible.
Please note that applicants can apply only once per academic year & to one program only.
