ISAE-SUPAERO ANNUAL REPORT 2022 20 Training / Highlights AcclaimedMOOCs The6English language courses on aeronautics and space, developed by the Institute and online on COURSERA (the world’s leadingMOOCplatform) had 15,000 registrants in 2022. The completion rate averaged 20%, a very satisfactory result compared to the average MOOC completion rate of less than 10%. It reaches 40% for students from the ISAE-SUPAEROcampus. The courses are taken by learners from all over the world, including 42% from India and 23% fromEurope. A newstudent recruitment tool Innovation, at the heart of training Innovation is the Institute’s third pillar, alongside Training and Research. Its increasing importance in engineering education is reaffirmed in the 2022-2026 COP. The aim is to train the innovativeengineers of tomorrow, capableof meeting themajor societal challenges of the21st century, in a constantly changing economy. As proof of this commitment, a permanent innovation and entrepreneurship lecturer has been recruited for the start of the 2022 academic year to enrich, structure and harmonize the training offer on these subjects (see page 29). The creation of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship department (see page 32) expands the resources available to students. Its mission: to promote and protect innovations born on campus, in conjunctionwith Toulouse Tech Transfert. ISAE-SUPAERO and ENAC are also committed to the development of a new Specialized Master’s® Degree in 2022, 100% digital, on the subject of transitions in aeronautics related to climate issues, innovative technologies, and the consideration of sustainability in the various activities (aeronautical design and construction, traffic and airport management, flight operations, etc.). The launch of this SpecializedMaster’s® degree, scheduled for 2026, will be preceded by other, shorter and complementary distance learning programs on the same theme, developed jointly by the two schools. Since 2022, the Marketing and Prospecting for Training Department of theDevelopment and InnovationDivision has been responsible for promoting and marketing the Institute’s entire range of initial and continuing training programs in France and abroad. The fall of 2022marked the return of international educational fairs and the Institutewas represented in Latin America and Africa. 15,000 enrolled in the 6 English language courses on aeronautics and space Executive Education ISAE-SUPAEROhas continued to grow its continuing education offer in 2022with the creation of a new certification course, “Cap H2” focusing on hydrogen technologies, in partnershipwith Capgemini Engineering and EUROSAE.
