ISAE-SUPAERO ANNUAL REPORT 2022 10 2022-2026 Objectives and performance Contract New Institute organization The 2022-2026COP commits the Institute to strengthening its position as a leader in higher education in aerospace engineering in Franceand internationally, asserting itself as a major player in the transitionsof thecivil andmilitaryaerospace sector, developing itsown resources, intensifyingcooperation with its partners, and creating an environment conducive to its development. Inorder tomeet theseobjectives, and tosupport itsdevelopment, ISAE-SUPAERO has conducted a review of its organization, basedon feedback fromtheexistingorganizationand listening to the teams. A 3-phase project 1. Launched inOctober 2021, a first phasebrought out operatingmethods that respondas closely as possible tochanges in the Institute’s activity, and made it possible to draw up a neworganization, resulting in a reduction in the number of departments from7 to 4. Training Division (DF) bringing together the former Divisionof Engineer Trainingand theDivisions ofMasters and SpecializedMaster’s® training Research and Educational Resources Division (DRRP) Development and Innovation Division (DDI), which includes the former CommunicationDivision, Corporate Relations and Sponsorship Division, International Relations Division, the Marketing and Prospecting for Training Department and the Institutional Relations mission, and within which two new departments have been created: the Business and Innovation and Entrepreneurship departments. General Secretariat (SG) 2. Basedon thesemajor orientations, a secondphaseofwork served toconstruct, with the teams concerned, thedetails of the neworganization. TheDevelopment and Innovation Division reached its target organization inOctober 2022. 3. Since the second half of 2022, the project has entered its third and final phase, whichwill continue until September 2023, when the target organizationof the TrainingDivision will be reached. This phase will be punctuated by co- design workshops on specific themes that will continue until March 2023with a progressive deployment. New bodies (Business Committee, Innovation Steering Committee, Innovation Council) have also been set up. On April 11, 2022, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Director General of ISAE-SUPAERO signed the newObjectives and Performance Contract (COP) with theMinistry of the Armed Forces, setting out the Institute’s 2022-2026 strategic objectives. It is structured around four lines of action: 1. To contribute to the progress of society by enhancing the impact of our training and research activities; 2. To be amajor player in civil and military aerospace sector transitions: decarbonization, NewSpace, innovation; 3. To further leverage our partnerships and networks to increase the impact of our activities; 4. To develop our fundamentals to ensure the future. In this COP, ISAE-SUPAERO reaffirms its raison d’être: to train high-level scientific, humanistic and innovative engineers around the aerospace challenges, able tomaster the complexities of the challenges of tomorrow’sworld. The Institute’smission is tomaintain the European aerospace industry and research, both civilian andmilitary, at the forefront of the world, to contribute to French and European sovereignty and prosperity, and to the progress of humanity.
