Ihssane Zaadoud - The Hijab Travel guide, TEDxColomiers
Available online :
When you hear the phrase "trip across Europe", you will probably remember the gorgeous Alps, the chic cuisine, the mesmerizing architecture...
Ihssane, a young Muslim Arab woman, remembers all that, and a little more. Ihssane Zaadoud is an Aerospace Engineering student at ISAE-SUPAERO. Born and raised in Morocco, she has moved to France four years ago and has started her journey exploring Europe ever since.
The SUPAERO debating club is where she discovered her passion for Public speaking. From small audiences of 3 students at the club’s room to the New York Time’s democracy Forum’s student debate at the university of Athens, she has learned that - as Martin Luther King said - "Our Lives begin to end the day that we become silent about things that matter".
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
