Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Be an applicant for the MAE at ISAE-SUPAERO (excluding double degrees)
  • Nationality: see scholarship requirements
  • Academic excellence
    • Minimum GPA: 3.5/4
    • or average mark ≥ 80%
    • or average mark ≥ 15/20
  • Professional aspirations in line with aerospace and the field covered by the scholarship
  • Expression of financial need

Application Process

  1. Submit an application to the Master in Aerospace Engineering during the first application phase between October and November.
  2. At the end of the application, a Scholarships tab will open. You can submit a letter of application for the scholarship(s) you wish to apply for. You can apply for one or more scholarships.
  3. The results are posted on the application website approximately 2 weeks after the results of the first jury (early February).

Lafayette Fellowship

Excellence scholarship programme for American students

  • 2 scholarships awarded to American students wishing to continue their studies at Master’s level

Eligibility criteria :

  • candidates must be aged 27 or under on July 1, 2026

  • hold a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. institution (obtained between January 2023 and June 2026) with a minimum grade point average of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale.

  • knowledge of French is not required for admission to the Lafayette program.

  • applicants must apply for admission to one of the French partner universities in addition to completing a Lafayette scholarship application. The grant is conditional on admission to one of the partner institutions.

Application Materials

To be considered for the Fellowship, applicants must submit the following materials via the application platform no later than 11:59 PM ET on November 30, 2025: 

  • General information: personal information, nationality, and contact details 
  • Proof of eligibility 
  • Education history, including university transcripts 
  • Academic institutions you are applying to and the academic program or degree you intend to pursue in France 
  • CV

Eiffel Scholarship

The Eiffel Scholarship: the institution chooses the candidate it will present for the Eiffel scholarship. Candidates are invited to apply during the first application session.

The Eiffel Scholarship programme is a tool developed by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education establishments to attract the best international students to Master’s-level degree courses.
 
It also helps to train future foreign decision-makers from the private and public sectors in priority areas of study, and to encourage applications from students from emerging countries for Master’s level courses.
 
Eiffel Scholarship holders receive a monthly allowance of €1181, which is supplemented by a number of benefits:
  • an international travel ticket including a return plane ticket from their country of origin to France
  • Campus France social security coverage, while students from outside the European Economic Area join the French social security system
  • complementary health insurance (mutuelle)

  • excellent academic results (average over 85%)
  • be an applicant for the Master in Aerospace Engineering
How do I Apply?
  • Applicants for the Eiffel Scholarship must first submit an application for the Master in Aerospace Engineering.
  • They can also mention their interest by sending an e-mail to info-programmes@tsaae.fr with title “EIFFEL Application – Master [MAE or AS-NAT or IATOM or IATSED]” and add in copy:
    1. the individual ranking in his/her class (if they have, or any document proving the excellence of the applicant),
    2. a cover letter explaining why they wish to apply for the Eiffel Scholarship programme along with the Master’s degree they apply for.
  • ISAE-SUPAERO is responsible for selecting potential candidates and submitting their applications to Campus France. Only institutions are authorized to submit applications.
  • Students’ application deadline: November 28, 2025.
  • Results: April 2026.

The End-of-Studies Internship

 
All Master’s programmes include a professional thesis, typically completed during a 4- to 6-month internship in a company or a laboratory during the fourth semester. Students receive a stipend during this placement to help support their living and study expenses.
