The ISAE-SUPAERO/TUM Double Degree
The Technical University of Munich (TUM) and ISAE-SUPAERO combine their expertise in higher education, research, and innovation to offer a double degree in Aerospace Engineering.
Everything You Need to Know About the Double Degree with TUM
- The first year takes place at TUM in the Master of Aerospace Engineering programme.
- The second year takes place at ISAE-SUPAERO in the Master of Aerospace Engineering (MAE) programme.
- The choice of major is open for the second year and chosen at the same time as ISAE-SUPAERO’s first year students during the first semester.
There are 5 spots available for ISAE-SUPAERO MAE applicants interested in doing the Double Degree.
Application/Selection Process
- Apply for the MAE at ISAE-SUPAERO through the application process.
- Be admitted to the MAE programme at ISAE-SUPAERO during the first or second application session.
- Answer the call to apply for the double degree programme (end of February/March).
The double degree programme admission committee will review all applicants and select 5 admitted students according to their motivation to pursue the double degree, the quality of their application, and the alignment of the programme with their professional aspirations.
With the exception of the double degree programme with the Technical University of Munich (TUM), the Master in Aerospace Engineering at ISAE-SUPAERO does not offer opportunities for academic exchanges abroad during the first three semesters. All coursework is completed on campus at ISAE-SUPAERO. However, thanks to the School’s strong international network, students may choose to undertake their end-of-studies placement abroad during the fourth semester, gaining valuable international professional experience.
