Get Hands-On Experience in a Production Facility in France or Abroad!

The aim of the 4-week work placement is to give our students their first experience of working in a company. It takes place at the end of the first year of the general engineering cycle, in France or abroad.

Given the diversity of students' career plans, the content of these placements can vary: work experience, scientific and technical studies, logistics or maintenance placements, etc.

Prepare to Enter the Professional World with Major Industrial Groups, Service Companies, Startups, Research Laboratories, etc.

The end-of-studies work placement takes place in the 3^rd year of the engineering cycle.

This compulsory internship lasts a minimum of 5 months and is an opportunity to put classroom knowledge into practice. It can be carried out in a company or in a research laboratory in France or abroad.

Supervised by a teacher from the Institute and a technical manager from the host organisation, our students carry out a real engineering project, which leads to the presentation of a report to a jury.

These placements, which are generally of a high technical level, give our students real responsibilities and enable them to put into practice the scientific and technical knowledge acquired during the first two years of study. These placements can be carried out in the summer for 2 months, or as a gap year between the 2^nd and 3^rd year.

In the 3^rd year, students can take part in a work-study programme under a professional training contract signed with a company. The 3^rd year student then alternates between training and work experience.
