Our Assessment Procedures
Our assessment methods ensure that students acquire all the knowledge and skills required for the diploma.
Continuous and/or final assessment combines:
- Individual assessments:
- Written tests and multiple-choice questions
- Oral presentations
- Reports and oral presentations on in-company periods
- Assessment of in-company periods by apprenticeship supervisors
- Group assessments:
- Reports on practical work or case studies taken from or reconstructed from the business world
- Project reports and presentations
Our Teaching Methods
For face-to-face courses, in addition to the traditional approach of a lecture combined with tutorials, our students can be offered role-playing situations and practical case studies, all of which provide learning opportunities.
Our teaching approach is based on a variety of learning methods designed to promote the acquisition of skills in a dynamic and interactive way:
- Lectures
- Case studies
- Practical work in the laboratory or FabLab
- Research projects in one of the Institute’s laboratories
- Engineering projects
- Business simulation
- Oral communication in French and English: role-plays (interviews, negotiation, business communication, etc.)
