Admission to the “Parcours Talents”

To promote social and geographic diversity within the major engineering corps, the “Parcours Talents” program—designed for students receiving financial aid—has been established by six partner engineering schools, including ISAE-SUPAERO.

ISAE-SUPAERO’s Parcours Talents program aims to ensure that students nearing the end of their engineering studies have every opportunity to join the French Army’s Armament Corps.

To promote social and geographic diversity within the major engineering corps, the “Parcours Talents” program—designed for students receiving financial aid—has been established by six partner engineering schools, including ISAE-SUPAERO.

ISAE-SUPAERO’s Parcours Talents program aims to ensure that students nearing the end of their engineering studies have every opportunity to join the Armament Corps.

The Armament Corps is one of the four major technical corps of the French government; it is the only one with military status. Armament engineers (IA) are senior civil servants who perform management, expert analysis, oversight, inspection, and coordination functions in all activities related to armaments.

This program is open to students who:

  • Are recipients of higher education scholarships or meet equivalent income criteria;
  • Are in their final year of an engineering program (completed four years of higher education) or equivalent;
  • Are eligible to take the Armament Corps entrance exam, both in terms of qualifications and regulatory criteria (French citizenship is required).

The program includes joint validation of the final-year internship at the student’s home engineering school; students recruited into the Talents Track then complete the third year of the ISAE-SUPAERO General Engineering program.

In addition, they pursue the Defense Certificate program led by ISAE-SUPAERO, designed to provide in-depth knowledge of defense organization and related issues. This certificate offers an immersion in the strategic, technical, institutional, and industrial dimensions of the French defense establishment.

In addition to the coursework for the certificate, students in the "Parcours Talents" specifically benefit from:

  • Specialized support from Defense Engineers to prepare for the competitive exam;
  • Easier access to events such as National Reservists Day or the DGA Defense Careers Day;
  • Reserved housing in the school residence;
  • Exemption from tuition fees;
    A supplementary scholarship of €4,000.

Accessibility for People with Disabilities

People with disabilities may have specific needs in order to follow our programmes.

If a learner has declared that he or she has a disability, the ISAE-SUPAERO Disability Advisor will consider the student's disability and his or her needs in terms of compensation (teaching resources, equipment, techniques, human resources, etc.). This person mobilizes the expertise, tools, and networks needed to provide access to premises (where applicable) and resources, as well as to facilitate preparation for certification (where applicable) and assessment tests.

Don't hesitate to contact our Disability Advisor, who offers individualized and confidential support to the students concerned and coordinates the adjustments needed, in coordination with the teaching teams, to ensure that the course runs smoothly.
