Admission of international students
Two possibilities:
- according to our academic cooperation agreements for a double degree or a substitution: based on applications ;
- students with a Bachelor’s degree of 4 years or more: admission in2nd year – on application.
Entry into 3rd year
Polytechnic students
Every year, ISAE-SUPAERO welcomes students from the Ecole Polytechnique in the3rd year of the general engineering course.
- Civilian students: application and interview.
- By right for engineers from the Armaments Corps.

Admission as part of an exchange
Exchange students: French or international exchange students under our academic cooperation agreements – application required.
Focus on the admission of international students
Substitute international students under our academic cooperation agreements
- Admission to the2nd or3rd year of the programme.
- A one-year or one-semester exchange to take courses at ISAE-SUPAERO.
- Non-degree-granting exchange: credits obtained but no ISAE-SUPAERO General Engineering degree (MSc).
- Requires three or four years of undergraduate study.
- Application via home university.
- Possibility of applying for the SSAE (Spring Semester in Aerospace Engineering) programme.
International double degree students under our academic cooperation agreements
- Admission in2nd year.
- Compulsory attendance at all courses and end-of-study placement in France or abroad at the end of the3rd year.
- If the3rd year is approved, the ISAE-SUPAERO engineering degree (MSc) is awarded at the same time as the degree from the home university.
- Application via the home university.
Students from foreign universities outside academic cooperation agreements
- Direct admission:
- Students with a Bachelor’s degree and a B1 level in French;
- Application date for the 2025/2026 academic year: from 11 December 2024 to 24 January 2025.

Accessibilité aux personnes en situation d'handicap
Les personnes en situation de handicap peuvent avoir des besoins spécifiques pour suivre nos formations.
Dans le cas où un apprenant s’est déclaré en situation de handicap, ses situations de handicap et ses besoins en compensation (moyens pédagogiques, matériels, techniques, humains…) sont pris en compte à l’ISAE-SUPAERO par notre Référent handicap. Ce dernier mobilise les expertises, les outils et les réseaux nécessaires pour faciliter l’accessibilité aux locaux et aux ressources, la préparation de la certification et les épreuves d’évaluation.
N’hésitez pas à contacter notre référent handicap, qui propose un accompagnement individualisé et confidentiel des étudiants concernés et coordonne le suivi des adaptations nécessaires au bon déroulement de son parcours, en lien avec les équipes pédagogiques.
