Why Enroll in the SPAPS Advanced Master?

Would you like to gain a better understanding of space systems and their use in Earth observation, communications, and navigation?

Our Programme is for You!

Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced professional, our programme is for you. The Advanced Master Space Applications & Services - SPAPS, accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles under n°1085, enables students to design space applications and services using examples and experimental work.

Head of the Programme 2024/2025

With the SPAPS programme, in partnership with Airbus, you will acquire a broad spectrum of the knowledge and skills needed to understand, define, characterise, and implement space applications in the fields of space telecommunications and Earth observation, using professional tools. This will provide you with a solid foundation for your future career, in a variety of roles: research and development, programme management, consultancy, etc.

The SPAPS Advanced Master in Brief

Between Theory and Practice

The SPAPS AM enables our students to design space applications and services using concrete examples and experimental work.

They will envision and design tools and solutions in areas such as the environment, agriculture, transportation, and urban planning.

They will also be able to create a complete telecommunications system according to the user's needs, including Internet access, Internet of Things, and fixed or mobile terminals.

At the heart of the space industry

The SPAPS AM enables our students to discover a wide range of industrial fields:

  • Jobs related to the use of space data (observation of the Earth and its atmosphere, telecommunications, data positioning, data from scientific and exploration missions) in complex information systems
  • Consultancy to identify and define needs and implement solutions using space data
  • Emerging professions linked to new challenges and applications in space

Promising career prospects

The SPAPS AM offers career opportunities in jobs such as:

🚀 Project managers

📈 Business engineers or business development managers

💡 Consulting managers

🔬 Research engineers

📊 Space applications experts

Programme Objectives

The SPAPS Advanced Master will enable you to:

  • acquire a broad understanding of space systems and their environment, constraints and capacities in the fields of earth observation, communications and navigation.
  • grasp the value of space systems for the creation of space applications and services.
Head of the Programme 2024/2025

Be curious and show an interest in space applications! You should also be able to understand, implement and use data processing tools. Keep an open mind about space applications. This sector is generally little known, even though it offers high added value and therefore needs bright new engineers.
