Why Enroll in the HADA Advanced Master?

Are you a student or professional looking to develop high-level technical engineering skills for careers in the aircraft, helicopter, and drone industry?

Our Programme is for You!

Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced professional, our programme is for you. The Advanced Master in Helicopter, Aircraft, and Drone Architecture - HADA, accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles under n°79, is designed and developed jointly by ISAE-SUPAERO and Airbus Helicopters.

The HADA AM provides a high level of engineering and technical skills for careers in the aircraft, helicopter, and UAV industries. It teaches advanced techniques required for future aircraft and UAV systems, including the new challenges associated with urban mobility.

In particular, it covers the technical and management aspects of the design, certification, and operation of military/civil aircraft, helicopters and UAVs, and leads to positions in these fields in France and abroad.

The HADA AM is a high-level course recognised by industry and adapted to current and future aeronautical engineering needs and challenges.

Jean-Marc Moschetta

The HADA programme is a joint programme with Airbus Helicopters, the world's leading helicopter manufacturer. Most of the instructors are expert engineers from renowned aeronautical companies and research institutes such as Airbus, Thalès, Safran, ONERA, etc.

The HADA Advanced Master in Brief

Innovative Challenges

This programme enables students to develop not only basic skills, but also specific skills needed to identify problems, propose alternatives, select and implement solutions to successfully complete projects for the design, certification and operation of aircraft, helicopters, and drones.

Drones and urban taxis will also be studied, as they represent a growing share of activity in the future aerospace sector, raising industrial, regulatory, and logistical challenges.

Expert Lecturers

The courses are taught by permanent ISAE-SUPAERO professors, but also by experts from the aeronautics industry who contribute their knowledge and experience within the industry at companies such as:

  • Airbus Helicopters
  • Airbus Group
  • Safran/Turbomeca
  • Thales

Promising Career Prospects

The programme gives students access to a wide range of career opportunities:

🚀 Design, certification and operation of civil and military aircraft, drones, and helicopters

💡 In France and abroad

Our students are recruited by the following companies: CAPGEMINI, Airbus Group, Airbus Helicopters, Safran-Turbomeca, Thales, Dassault Aviation, Gendarmerie Nationale, Helibras (Brazil), AVIC (China) HAL (India), Pawan Hans Helicopters ltd (India), Airbus Helicopters Mexico, Algerian Air Force, Brazilian Navy, Chile Air Force, Indian Air Force, Pakistan Army, Tunisian Air Force, Sauber f1 team.

Programme Objectives

The HADA Advanced Master enables you to:

  • Obtain the basic skills required for aeronautical engineers (architecture, certification, and structures) as well as the specific skills needed to identify problems, propose alternatives, and select and implement solutions for aircraft, helicopter, and UAV projects.
  • Develop new skills and broaden existing knowledge to meet the industrial, regulatory, and logistical challenges emerging as drones and urban taxis represent a growing part of the future aerospace sector.
  • Discover a comprehensive training programme covering everything from electronic systems and structures to aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and certification, with a diverse and multicultural cohort of classmates.
Jean-Marc Moschetta

Motivation for aeronautics is a key point, not least because the programme is academically demanding and dense. Applicants are expected to have a solid background in engineering sciences, but also to be able to work as part of a team.
