Why Enroll in the Aero Ops SA Advanced Master?

Would you like to gain an in-depth understanding of the processes, methods, and current challenges involved in keeping state aircraft in operational condition?

Our Programme is for You!

The École de l'Air et de l'Espace and ISAE-SUPAERO offer you a Advanced Master in Aeronautics Operational Sustainment for State Aircraft - MS Aero OpS SA.

The aim of our course is to train those responsible for keeping military and state aircraft in operational condition, from the design phase of a support system through the challenges of  fleet management in a state operational environment.

Programme Objectives

The Advanced Master Aero Ops SA will enable you to:

  • Analyse the operation of a state aircraft and understand the technical constraints specific to the military air environment.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of a support system for a fleet of state aircraft; assess the risks and threats of maintenance operations to optimise the decision-making process.
  • Operate and supporte a fleet of state aircraft in a constrained digital operating environment.
  • Understand the specific challenges of maintaining operational readiness during a high-intensity conflict.
  • Implement tools to optimise management processes for the production of state aircraft, based on principles of operational excellence.

Programme advantages

A Multidisciplinary Programme

The quest for maximum aircraft availability, using methods based on operational excellence in an environment requiring a high level of aeronautical safety, calls on specific and multidisciplinary skills and knowledge.

Maintaining state aircraft in operational condition is a major challenge for French authorities.

At the Heart of the Aeronautics Industry

The courses are taught by professors and researchers from the École de l'Air et de l'Espace and ISAE-SUPAERO, and also by experts from the French armed forces and defence aeronautics industry who contribute their knowledge and experience.

The MS Aero Ops SA programme is complemented by visits to French armed forces aeronautical units and industrial sites.

Promising Career Prospects

Potential career paths for graduates include:

  • Engineer/manager of a maintenance programme or an organisation for maintaining state aircraft in operational condition
  • Airworthiness management engineer for state aircraft
  • Project manager for a state aircraft operational unit
  • Project manager in the field of state aircraft operational maintenance
  • Consulting engineer
